Our Strategies
The Bristol Avon Catchment Partnership has two key strategies which support and guide the work of the partnership. An overview of these can be found below, along with links to pages where you can download the strategies and find out more.
The Catchment Plan
The 2022-2027 Catchment Plan provides a clear and ambitious focus for partners working across the catchment, proving a steer on the partnership’s agreed priorities and actions. The Catchment Plan should be used to guide the development of environmental strategies in the region, as well as guiding where project-based collaboration and delivery should be focused.

The aims of the Bristol Avon Fish Recovery Strategy

The Bristol Avon Fish Recovery Strategy
The Bristol Avon Fish Recovery Strategy guides collective action to deliver the vision and actions required for fish recovery in the Bristol Avon catchment. It serves as a tool for embedding the value of rivers in decision-making across spatial planning, asset management, public health, environmental recovery and resilience, and economic development.
We would like to thank Bristol Avon Rivers Trust for leading the production of the Fish Recovery Strategy.
In addition to the strategies BACP lead on, there is a suite of regional and national strategies that BACP both actively influences and is guided by. Links to some of these can be found on the National and Local Policy page.
