Catchment Partnership Fund
What is the Catchment Partnership Fund?
In 2015, it was agreed by the Steering Group that partners would establish the Bristol Avon Catchment Partnership Fund. This was to provide seed-funding and small grants to enable partnership projects to carry out vital scoping, feasibility and community engagement work. Previously partners had identified a gap in resourcing this initial investment into projects.
How can I apply?
The BACP opens at least one call for projects per year and grants the funds to the successful projects that best tackle the water-related issues. To find out more about how to apply to the Catchment Partnership Fund follow this link.

What kind of projects does the Catchment Partnership Fund support?
Main Grants
The Main Grants Scheme has been the key offer of the Catchment Partnership Fund (CPF) since 2015 and has contributed towards the development of many of the BACP Partnerships Projects and Programmes. It has funded vital data and evidence gathering and has enabled the partners to engage and involve community groups to deliver more for their local rivers through the more strategic projects and programmes being delivered across the catchment.
Community Grants
The Community Grants Scheme first opened in 2022, this is a separate small grants pot specifically aimed at community groups to help fund work like water quality testing sampling or equipment to help with habitat management, enabling communities to deliver more for their local rivers.
