Policy Links

The Bristol Avon Catchment Partnership actively influences local and national policy to benefit the water environment where relevant. We do this through consultation responses, engaging with groups such as Local Nature Recovery Strategy Steering Groups, Joint Green Infrastructure Working Group, and also engaging with decision-making organisations where required.

The BACP is guided by existing policy. While policy guides what has to be done or can be done, it also directs a lot of the current funding by creating regulatory drivers. For this reason, the BACP remains up-to-date with relevant local and national policy. Some of the current key policy documents can be found in the pages below.
