Richard Cresswell– Independent Chair
Richard chairs the partnership, providing a professional and experienced oversight towards the BACP governance and direction. Richard also represents the BACP at strategic meetings, including the West of England Nature Partnership and the West of England’s Natural Environment Officer Steering Group. Until 2014, he was Director for the Environment Agency in the South West of England and was their National Operations lead for Water and Land and their lead Director for the Severn Estuary Flood Risk Strategy.
Jack Bishop – Catchment Co-ordinator
Jack provides strategic oversight to the Bristol Avon Catchment Partnership, managing the Catchment Partnership and providing facilitative support to enable collaborative working with partners. Jack now focuses most of his time on supporting partners with developing partnership programmes and local strategies.
Vacant – Catchment Partnership Officer
The Catchment Partnership Officer provides overall support to the day-to-day running of the Catchment Partnership. The Officer is responsible for managing the Catchment Partnership Fund; the data & evidence requirements of the partnership; and manages the Partnership’s responses to consultations.

Holly Ellis – Environmental Practioner Apprentice
Holly provides support for the range of work covered by the Partnership Officer and Co-ordinator and we expect her remit to expand across her apprenticeship. Her current focus is producing newsletters, website management, and taking minutes for partnership meetings; while developing skills in GIS, data analysis, and community engagement. Holly is completing an Environmental Management degree with Wessex Water affiliated with The University of the West of England.
